Comet Nishimura will be visible tonight in naked eye

Comet Nishimura comes closest to Earth once every 437 years. Whenever it approaches Earth, it is visible in naked eye. No telescope is required for this. One such event is going to happen tonight, Tuesday (September 12).

The comet is named after astronomer Hideo Nishimura. This comet was discovered by this astronomer in the month of August.

According to astronomers, a comet will be visible in the naked eye on September 12. Its name is 'Nishimura'. Astronomers discovered this comet for the first time on August 11 this year.

According to a report, the comet is currently being seen with the help of binoculars. Although it is still far from Earth. But when approaching, no telescope is needed.

According to astronomers, Comet Nishimura will soon orbit the Sun and come close to Earth. Later it will go to the far space. The scientific name of this comet is C/2023-P1.

Scientists say, comet Nishimura's orbital period is 437 years. After Tuesday, the comet will come close to Earth again after 437 years. Which can be seen from sunset to sunrise. The deeper and darker the night, the higher the chances of seeing the 'Comet Nishimura'.
